HOPECFI is newly established Alternative Provision, dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

By attending our provision, children will benefit in several key ways:

Each child's individual needs undergo thorough assessment, leading to the creation of personalised support plans tailored to address their specific challenges and facilitate their overall development. Our team of experienced staff members are well-versed in catering to children with diverse needs, ensuring that each child benefits from appropriate educational interventions and therapeutic assistance aimed at unlocking their full potential. We facilitate children's learning journey through a variety of educational activities meticulously designed to accommodate their unique abilities and interests. Our nurturing environment fosters a strong sense of belonging and acceptance, enabling children to cultivate confidence, self-esteem, and positive relationships with both peers and staff. Beyond academic advancement, we place emphasis on nurturing children's communication skills, fostering independence, and instilling essential life skills to empower them for success in both academic and social realms. At HOPECFI, we embrace diversity and champion inclusivity, establishing a warm and supportive community where every child is esteemed and embraced for their individuality.

Overall, attending HOPECFI provides children with the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe and nurturing environment tailored to their individual needs.

Our Policies

It's not necessary for children to have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) or a formal diagnosis to enrol at HOPECFI. However, they must have been identified as having Special or Additional Needs and be summer born aged 4, be over 5 and enrolled in a specialist or mainstream school, or be registered with the Local Authority as homeschooled.

OUR CLASSES

Our goal is to maintain small class sizes, typically ranging from 4 to 8 children per class. Children are grouped based on their specific needs, age, abilities, and preferences. We provide specialised facilities including a gym, an art therapy room, a tech room, a sensory room, and general learning rooms.

Throughout the day, children access these provisions according to their individualised programs.

Why stay home because there is no place in a preferred or special school? Register for Elective Home Education if your child is over 5 and receive Local Authority Funding for your child to attend HOPECFI.

HOPE is the centre for inclusion.

Operating Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm during school terms, children can spend up to 16 hours at the center. Our founder

Aicha brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). With a background in social sciences and business management from the French education system and university, respectively, she transitioned into teaching. Over the years, Aicha has acquired numerous childcare qualifications and credentials, demonstrating her commitment to childcare excellence. As the owner of a chain of children's day nurseries and after-school and holiday clubs in Leeds, Aicha's entrepreneurial spirit drives her passion for offering childcare consultancy services to other childcare and education settings. She is also dedicated to child protection training and serves as a SEND mentor, aiming to provide children with a safe environment and quality care to set them on the path to success. Aicha's love for children extends beyond her business ventures. She collaborates with Community Interest Companies, charities, schools, and orphanages, fostering partnerships to support children's well-being and development. Recognising the gap in Alternative Provisions for school-aged children and young people with SEND in Leeds, she envisioned the HOPE Centre For Inclusion (HOPECFI).

HOPECFI embodies Aicha's vision of providing inclusive and supportive environments where children with SEND can thrive and reach their full potential.
